Today I was refused embankment by Vueling manager because I did not hear them cal my name or announce that the gate would be closing for passengers who had tickets before I boarded my flight from Barcelona to Brussels at 1230hra..As a result when I stood at the back of the line of people hoping to get on the plane (thinking they were passengers with tickets) , I was told by the " supervisor" Mohommaed , who refused to give me his surname ( although printed on his badge) , that he had given my ticket to someone else and I had lost my place on yhe flight.
I spoke firmly and policy at all times and asked for the names of the two female staff who were persistently ignoring me while I stood in line and asked repeatedly for one of them to explain or advise.
After several minutes of waiting I wrote down the name of one of the female staff from Vueling. Her name was Fuada or " Fadua" . She noticed that I was writing her name down on my boarding card ( so I could make an official complaint against her and he supervisor later). She ripped the boarding card from my hand leaving me with a fragment and tossed away the part which she had ripped. In doing so she twisted my hand. She did not apologise and walked off. This assault was witness by 2 security guards who had been called because passengers were upset because vueling had cancelled paid tickets and had given their seats to others. It was also witnessed by ger tqo colleague one of whom stated clearly that she should not have done this. The names of her colleagues were " Momon" ( or something similar) and Joanne"..
...(or similar) Both of Faudas' colleagues were trying to be polite.
I have reported this assault by a vueling staff member to the police and will be seeking substantial compensation following legal advice which I am currently receiving.
I was not given another flight but told by Mohammed that I had yo buy another ticket to Brussels.
I shall never use this company again. The staff appear to be unbelievably rude and unhelpful...apart from a fee exceptions and worse of all under stress , one of their staff has assaulted a distressed customer.
I would be interested to see if vueling apologies for her disgusting behavior . O am traumatized and utterly appalled that this has been allowed by Vueling
We have had to cancel our flights Cardiff to Alicante.
9th September till 25th September, because of health issues regarding my wife. Booking no VBVT4M, for 3 persons John Benson, Linda Benson, Joyce Taliana, is it possible to have these flights transferred to later date, when my wife gets well, we are regular flyers with Vueling, on many occasions 3 times a year, I was trying to get in touch by telephone yesterday, but unable to get in touch with an advisor on the number given 02035143971.
