Wi-Fi

Meal Options

A passenger flying in the Economy class can select from a menu inspired by where they are traveling. Usually, there will be a three-course meal and snack, which also depends on the time and route duration.  

For Business Class passengers, the menu is inspired by the destination of the passenger, with a three-course meal and snacks in the mix. Check the menu available for your flight and see which options you can choose from.

Passengers on First Class can enjoy mouth-watering dishes onboard inspired by the region. There’s also a three-course meal, including an appetizer, main course, and side dish accompanied by the fresh-baked bread, a cheese board, and a dessert. Passengers flying on First Class can request food to their private suites, or visit the onboard lounge for drinks.

Drinks and Alcohol

Emirates provides a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks such as cocktails, spirits, beers, and fine wines. There are also soft drinks, including hot drinks and juices. Passengers on Economy Class are offered complimentary soft drinks, coffee, and teas, with alcoholic beverages availed on purchase.

First Class and Business Class passengers are provided with complimentary champagne, spirits, wine, soft drinks, and beer, which are served alongside their meal, with extra drinks available on request to their suite. More drinks are available at the onboard lounge.

Special Dietary Requirements

All meals are halal. If you have any food allergies, you’re advised to get in touch with the Emirates Airlines reservations before departure and arrange optional meals. Passengers that wish to book a special meal like vegetarian and vegan or meals according to their medical, religious, or dietary needs have to book the meals or make an order at least 24 hours before the flight departure. 

Baggage Policy

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers flying in Business and First Class are allowed to carry two items of carry-on baggage, including one briefcase not exceeding 18 x 14 x 8 inches plus a handbag not exceeding 22 x 15 x 8 inches or a garment bag not exceeding 8 inches thick upon folding. The weight of any carry-on item must be 7kg maximum.  

For passengers that do Emirates Airlines reservations on Economy Class, they are allowed to bring with them on board one item of carry-on baggage. The baggage must be 55 x 38 x 20 cm maximum and the weight must not exceed 7kg.

Checked Baggage

Emirates airline has a baggage allowance calculator that enables passengers to enter their itinerary and their travel class to discover the exact amount of baggage allowance on their flight. You can find the tool on the airline’s website.

On most flights, passengers on Economy Class with a “Special” ticket are allowed to carry up to 20 kg of checked luggage. Economy passengers with “Flex” or “Saver” tickets are permitted 30 kg of checked baggage while passengers with “Flex Plus” tickets are allowed up to 35kg of checked luggage.

Passengers on Business Class can carry up to 40 kg of checked luggage while those on First Class are permitted up to 50 kg of checked baggage. 

Passengers are allowed to check-in as many baggage pieces as they like. However, no single item should exceed 32 kg. Additionally, the size of each bag has to not more than 118 inches, combined dimension (Length + Width + Height).

On some flights, passengers in Economy Class are permitted to check-in 2 (23kg) bags while a passenger in Business and First Class are allowed 2 (32kg) bags. 

Emirates Cancellation Policy

• Emirates cancellation policy is customer-friendly and easy to understand.
• If you wish to cancel your flight due to certain unavoidable circumstances, you can easily make a request for cancellation for the flight you booked.
• However, before you make any request for cancellation, it’s important to know about the Emirates 24 hour cancellation policy.
• According to the policy, you efficiently cancel your flight within 24 hours of booking.
• There will be a cancellation fee needed when a passenger makes a cancellation within 24 hours of booking. If any cancellation is made after 24 hours, then the passenger will be subject to cancellation charges.
• According to the Emirates cancellation policy, if a ticket booked is refundable, then passengers can request a full refund.

Emirates Flight Change Policy

• If you wish to change the details of your flight that you recently booked, the Emirates flight Change policy allows you to make modifications easily. However, the change has to follow the rules and restrictions dictated by Emirates Airlines.
• Emirates airlines let you change your Emirates reservations within 24 hours before the scheduled flight departure, which is subject to the flight change policy of the Emirates and seat availability.
